Plastic Partial Dentures
- Plastic partial dentures are good for replacing small numbers of teeth using an acrylic base and small metal wire clasps
- They can be repaired and have teeth added on in the future
Metal Partial Dentures
- Metal partial dentures are stronger than plastic partial dentures and fit more tightly with cast metal clasps
- A metal partial dentures are essential for preservation of the remaining natural teeth
- Metal partial denture may or may not be repairable and can only have teeth added on in certain cases. You will need to bring your appliance in for us to check before booking a repair.
Flexible Partial Dentures
- Flexible partial dentures do not have any metal clasps
- Recommended for single tooth gaps
- Most aesthetic partial denture option
- Flexible partial dentures are non-repairable and cannot have teeth added on
